Yellow legged gull

This gull ranges througout the Mediterranean, and the Black sea. It also lives in a couple of islands in the Atlantic ocean. It winters in the red sea and the west african coast. This gull can be found on sea coasts, towns, and sometimes freshwater lakes.

They have yellow legs, grey wings and back, white breast, and a yellow bill with a little red.

Usually they lay 3 eggs, and they nest in colonies. The nest is a little vegetation mound, and is defended by the parent gull vigorously. They breed from mid-March to early May.
